Paul Albert artist

Born 1958 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Since 1992 he lives and works in Madrid, Spain. He works in the field of graphic arts and art on paper. He has participated and won awards at international graphic art forums. In September 1993 he opened his own studio (workshop) for art engraving, which later took the name "Negro 85" ("Black 85") and functioned until February 2022. He teaches printmaking techniques in organized courses and schools at the Andalusian Centre for Serial Art in Alcala La Real (Jaén); at the "Jose Cataluña Gallery, Santander; together with Acacio Puig in the framework of a European program for the celebration of "Xacobeo 99", Santiago de Compostela; at the Cantabrian Art Center, Noja; in the framework of the Summer Courses at the University of Murcia; at the Nicolas Salmerón Cultural Centre; at the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Printmaking, Marbella; in the Summer Courses of the National University of Cartagena; together with Ana Matias in the Summer Course at the Atelier Gallery "Con tinta roja" ("With red paint"), Marbella.
